I don’t care who Putin wants as British Prime Minister. Putin has interfered enough in western democracies and their elections. What I want as a British Citizen is someone who can be relied upon not to break the law.
Tbh, for me left or right is secondary to the personal qualities of integrity and selflessness.

I prefer a degree of competence and the ability to get something done…

We are where we are. I’ve said before that Boris is the best of the current bunch. I can’t decry a man for having a glass of wine. I take a more pragmatic view, in that I’d rather Boris than any of the others and that Starmer is a lightweight.

I’ve no doubt Rishi will resign as this is a godsend reason to bale out. But Boris will stick it out…..

To some degree I agree with you. However Chamberlain was patently unfit for the role, Boris is however doing a decent job of it. Just ask yourself who would Putin want in the job today, Boris or Starmer…..
