Current Affairs The next Tory (strong and stable) leader is Boris Johnson

Its odd and I've heard and seen it a lot, especially from brexiteers who willfully empowered johnson and his cronies. A resfusal to accept responsibility or the possibility they where duped perhaps?
Not an easy thing to admit to is it. Would like people to take responsibility for their votes instead of further enabling the likes of Johnson.
Part of the problem is, people can always find some nonsense’article’ online, written by some grifter that backs their point of view.

Chatting with my accountant last week, he is totally disgusted with how bad things have become and the fact that we now have the most corrupt government in history in power and as a result he will not vote again.

Can’t get my head around this train of thought.

It’s just really saying to me that he is willing to turn a blind eye to these mass levels of corruption and lies, but because he voted to get them in, he wouldn’t vote against it to make it stop.
They have had their snouts in the trough since Cromwell days ....

Haven't they just..."Private Eye".

Mate prices went up when we were forced to join then the Common Market - We joined that under the Tories under Ted Heath a major mistake then ..... No vote by the way, just forced into it ..... prices rocket in every way we paid purchase tax form 3-7 % then it went to 10% across the board on all goods - Food prices rocketed - The Farmers gained ..... everything changed then it settled down .... we were not in a European Government though .....

So cycles move on at least this time we had a vote ......

Yeah, at least we gave a well thought out vote to a load of small minded “league of gentlemen” staunch nationalists, with a load of dumb pricks voting because they deep down don’t really like brown people.

Unless of course they are scoring goals for their football teams and then of course they can pretend they are living in the reflected glory.

But Joey you have shut yourselves out of a 500million plus population free market. Again as I have posted elsewhere, in my career as an Irish Civil Servant, Brussels has driven me crazy in its ways. However, we need to hang in there and just try and work from inside.

Seriously, the UK is facing a lot of economic difficulties by walking away from the EU.

Retired now thankfully.

We originally join in 1973 and the referendum was held in 1975, so the people had the chance to reject joining, by a massive margin by the way, so to say we were forced to join is simply not true.
A two-year gap which advocates my first point we never had one to join it was the Tory piano playing Ted Heath who paid over the odds to take us in the ECC ....plus we had another on in the early 1980s I think again only on trade - which was problematic at first, but smoothed its way out ... I voted Yes twice for those two votes by the way ......
