They might as well rip up the ministerial code. It's utterly pointless. The sad thing is that so many who banged on about democracy during the Brexit campaign are happy to turn a blind eye to Johnson running roughshod over it.

Think after him, they need to firm up the rules. Its always been assumed that people wont break the code/rules and if they do, they resign. He has thrown all that put of the window.

Caught lying to parlimemt, your no longer the PM, your removed, simple.

Starmer should be doing better at PMQ's given the hand he's got at the moment. When Johnson started talking about Russia he should've compared him to Neville Chamberlain, saying at least Chamberlain had the decency to resign when he'd lost all credibility. Johnson would've lost the plot.

Instead, he lets him get away with the same crap every single week. The vaccine rollout was more than 12 months ago and Brexit was almost two years ago, and his Brexit deal is an unmitigated disaster which unravels further every week at the moment.

FINISH HIM.

I would imagine as soon as the report is published then the cabinet will rebuke Johnson and he'll be gone immediately. They've just been waiting for the right moment to feast. If not then it's even worse than I thought.

Just watched pmqs and sir kier weak again imo.
He should let Angela sort Boris out !
Boris is a clever chancer but out of the lot of them both sides I really don’t see a standout replacement which is sad.
Speaking of sir kier Does anyone remember Reg Varney from on the buses I’m sure Kier is his son and what about Lindsey Hoyle for inspector Blake ?

No wonder there was no great enthusiasm amongst the front bench today at PMQs.

Multiple sources confirm Boris Johnson didn’t tell his cabinet of the police investigation *despite knowing before cabinet started the announcement was imminent* This has caused Cabinet incredulity, I understand. No10 says it was too “sensitive” to share with cabinet

I thought Boris gave Beer Starmer a good kicking today. Starmer was an idiot for saying that cakegate was the most important issue for the U.K. , thereby allowing Boris to mention the little matters of Brexit, Covid, the Economy, Ukraine etc and coming out with the ‘Lawyer not a Leader’ quip…….

It's incredible that there are more severe sanctions and punishment for calling someone a liar than there are for repeatedly and flagrantly lying to parliament and the country.
