I don’t know, the omertà around his alleged comments at that Telegraph dinner (and the threats afterwards) suggests he still has a lot of support.

The recent criticism over Paterson and now this mornings antics is probably the least that they’d be expected to do, to defend it would just make them look ridiculous (not that it won’t stop a few having a go, eg: Allison Pearson).

I don't know if the threshold has been reached yet but as soon as goes from election winner to liability, he's done. Alternatively, he'll walk and dine out on 'Getting Brexit Done' as long as people will pay him to listen.

There was a similar thing though in the first quarter of the year when it looked like the hacks were after him.
Then we had the vaccination roll out and he was able to hide behind that.

Actually can’t believe he’s managed 2 years, moral standards in this country now at an all time low, but what can you expect when this is the so called “leader” of the country?
