The BBC think they are more powerful than the government, all they have been interested in for 12 months is partygate. They started the ball rolling in ousting him.

I dont think theyve been interested enough in party gate mate. Why did it take them months to initially report it?

Some of us didnt get to bury loved ones and followed the rules, while those scumbags were partying at our expense. I have no idea why that was kept from us for so long.

Even the BBC couldn't cover for him in the end, with the understandable anger towards their disgusting behaviour. Laughing at mugs like me who followed the rules.

It's gonna be Rishi, isn't it?
Have absolutely skiddly diddly squat of an idea who it is going to be.
I mean we are talking Tories here.
Will they vote for a brown man who is going to keep taxes high and essentially lead us back into austerity?
Or a middle of the road white woman who says they will cut tax?

Whoever it is, is going to get mullered by the unions this summer/autumn.
You would have to ask, why does anybody actually want it right now.

.

Truss is now very slight favourite. What a time to be alive.
Looks like Sunak v Truss - can't see any Badenoch votes going to Mordaunt.

Then it will be up to that weird section of society known as Conservative Party Members to decide who our next PM is.

He's probably the least worst, but there should be a general election.
GE should be called instantly after the leadership contest is over. It won't happen though. They're more interested in being in the job for more days than Gordon Brown. Why put that at risk. Proper self serving "poor language removed".
