I know it's our system but i really don't like how we cant vote for PM in situations like this

My opinions is that if the PM quits it leads to snap election
That would make us similar to a presidency.
Don't forget, we don't vote for a prime minister. We vote for MP's. Then the leader of the party with the most seats won, is named prime minister.

I predict the next pm will be an odious little gremlin, who is completely detached from life outside of Westminster and the crippling cost of living increase that is grinding our economy to a halt.

You heard it here first!

The new PM will start a trade war with the EU and be crushed by the outcome. Inevitably, the Tories won't be able to help themselves and will appoint some other creature from their house of horrors who will think sticking it to the Europeans will buy him or her time in office. That will be to the total and utter detriment of ordinary British people - particularly beyond London - who will face the brunt of the impact. It's going to get even grimmer for quite some time yet unless this gang is replaced by reasonable people who deal in reality.

I've always been of the belief that if a Prime Minister steps down/resigns/dies etc then a general election should be held as that person was the one that was voted in/won. Rather than the party picking their own new leader and therefor Prime Minister.

We don’t have a President…and a General Election would take months and close down Parliament….

She’ll give all you weird tories a little stiffy won’t she
Have met her a few times through work related stuff, she does have a bit of a MILF thing going on tbh so it could be interesting, she seemed to be very nice and friendly and approachable, you can tell she is ex-military though. No idea what she is like as an MP but she is popular down in Portsmouth (I'm up the coast a bit)
