Yep. All you see is kids wearing the mad colours of the new Liverpool kits but its all too rare now to see kids wearing the everton kit, partly because its so difficult to get, but also the kids want to be wearing a new one at this time of year. And as another poster said, wearing them on holiday.

This time of year its the biggest money spinner too, surely. I dont get why Umbro are dragging their heels.
 
OMG I don't know how you're going to react to this but If you're anything like me then you need to sit down and prepare to fume!
I have just come back from a shopping trip at a sports wholesalers in Manchester where I saw the new Everton kit all ready to hit the shops before schools break up. But to my absolute horror I'm afraid to I have to tell you that it's not even blue!!!! It's black and red stripes with black shorts and socks, just like the AC Milan kit.
Who in earth thought it would be a good idea to have a kit with red in it is beyond me. But that's only the half of it. They have even replaced the club crest with a completely new one, even worse than that cartoon monstrosity from a few years back. It has the English flag on it next to more black and red stripes.
I'm disgusted with the club for going ahead with this without any notice whatsoever.

The discussion about whether or not the nawtiest left back in the werld is wearing this or last season's training top says it all. Absolutely no need for clubs to bring out all that sportswear every season when you can't even tell the difference. That's not even mentioning the gigantic rip off that is official kits, three of um ffs, for a domestic season and no European football.

What are your thoughts on going back to keeping a shirt multiple years, BFS?
