bad decision IMO, yes Sterling was out of line and has made himself look a racist tit but didn't this come from a hidden recording? if so that's entrapment and disagree completely with it

At the end of the day, that recording became public knowledge. There has been years of speculation and rumours surrounding Sterling's racism. Elgin Baylor tried a lawsuit against Sterling which eventually failed, however now there is evidence of the owner of an NBA franchise who holds discriminative views. What choice does Adam Silver have but to ban (at the very least) a man making millions from the Clippers, in a game mostly dominated by black players?

Every one should be able to ball. White, black, asian, hispanic, kopite.. whatever. And they should be allowed to do that without playing for (and therefore representing) a foul human being.

I agree with the decision to fine him but not with it coming out via a recording Ive never agreed with any of that even when u see these undercover journo's who use them to get a good story for the papers I think its a dangerous road to go down. Its like the police recording you saying something in your house, arresting you then selling your house for you I just don't agree with it personally.

I understand where you're coming from, but this isn't an isolated incident. Sterling has had a history of racism and discrimination, both to players and clients of his associated businesses. It's just now he has been actually, undeniably, caught out. And in order to protect the league brand, keep the supports of the players and the fans, he just had to go.

If I was a Clippers fans and Sterling was still in charge, there's not a chance I'd be buying a season ticket from the man.

To me they're the same type. LeBron is a little better shooter, Magic is more natural with the ball. If Magic played today we may call him a Power Point? LeBron certainly plays a lot of Point Forward

Who's the prototype #1? For a passing #1 you have Stockton & Nash? Oscar for a hybrid #1/#2?

#2 is Jordan all day. Kobe is little Jordan

#3 is Bird. Does Durant fit into this spot?

Dirk and Melo would be a #3/#4 hybrid? Very similar gam, except I rate Dirk over Melo.

#4 is Duncan / Russell (my friends tell me Russell is a #4). Probably M Malone too. Guys like Barkley and K Malone are great, but not the same style as Duncan and Russell.

Oscar all day. He was buttah and clutch, to boot. Russell and Duncan are friendly/unfriendly versions of the same player. Duncan is unquestionably the better offensive player, just as Russell was maybe the finest defensive player and "court psychologist" to ever play the game. He was the key to the greatness of the Celtics - their only constant throughout the early dynasty of the 50s/60s.

Imagine a glowering seven foot tall Roy Keane. That was Russell.

(I love making these cross-sport analogies, BTW)

Clippers are one of the most profitable teams in the NBA and that was even with 1/2 full stadia. He's also a living breathing troll. He won't sell.
 
Hey Sterling is going to have an extra 1.5B on top of his 1.9B fortune. WHERE IS KENWRIGHT???????????

On the other side, Washington make their first play offs since 07/08 and they definitely deserve it. John Walls deserves his big stage, and I'd like to see Bradley Beal step up too. They have two imposing bigs in Nene and Gortat, so this match up will be physical and intense. I'd liken it to Crystal Palace vs Stoke, just better. Could be another upset here. Wizards in 5.
