I think Martinez will have studied them and will have a plan. Whether the team can implement the plan for long enough
we'll have to see.
Will Lukaku have one of his better days? If he does, we win.
I see Kev scored for Belgium yesterday. Maybe that will get him back in the mood.

I think Martinez will send them out with a far more positive outlook than Moyes ever did in this fixture, and that's a big plus.

He may of studied them, but regardless, the plan will be short passing around a 4-2-3-1 formation.

It's gonna come down to the referee. It always seems to do so. Either a player is sent off that shouldn't be, a player isn't sent off that should be, a dive is given as a penalty while a legitimate penalty goes uncalled.

Let's just hope that for once (in recent derby history) we get a crap call IN OUR FAVOR.

Whilst they have a better strike force, only because of rat boy, I think the teams are very close in terms of ability.

We are better at the back, our midfield is better than theirs in the wide positions, similar in the middle.

Therefore, I am going to say a bit of luck on the day is all you need.

The old cliche of midfield battle. If we stop their supply, sturridge and goofy cnut will be isolated. Barry and McCarthy are key and if Barkley can pull their CB's out of position then there will be gaps for Lukaku

The REFEREE.

Always has been in these types of games. To win a derby you have to win the psychological battle and be willing to use any trick in the book to gain an advantage. Under Moyes we have always been too honest and nice. Last season Suarez should have been booked for unsportsmanlike conduct with his celebration (Moyes should have gone mad and demanded a card) and saw 2 red cards for his stamps (our players should have copied the rat's behaviour when getting Rodwell sent off, for what was actually nothing). I admire our ethics but they go out of the window against this lot. Joe Royle had the correct approach. Show this shower the respect they deserve... none.

102 votes and Dowd has "won" it by clear margin 38%
