The midfield three

A specialist RB would be a dream…. Just imagine we actually prioritise this next summer.

However, he is the best option we have and gives us the option to have a ball playing RB who can support further forward, whilst allowing us to play 2 creative players more central.

Throw in a left back & have a full house too .....Watched Arsenal their full backs are class - into days game they are key overlapping & being able to defend too .. we have not got any on either side ?

Watched it back this morning and his passing was legitimately good. Normally it's a net negative. Hope it wasn't a one off, that's the biggest thing that's been missing from his game

He looks better playing forwards - never a defensive midfielder...

Surprised he hasn’t gone for a 4-3-3 considering the gaps and limitations some positions we have. Wingers would be tighter to our not so good strikers and hopefully will stop teams passing through our midfield like they’ve been doing.

I’d like to see an actual midfield 3 - nobody at number 10, but Garner in the middle sitting deep, Charlie and KDH either side making forward runs.

I love Gana but I think that 3 would give us better balance/control.

Things like this need testing out regardless before AFCON.
