Tennessee Blue Mike

Player Valuation: £50m
Lee Westwood had another grand day today one stroke ahead of Phil Mickleson. Mickleson nearly pulled off three eagles in a row on the back nine. Some attractive golf today around Amen corner.

Oh yes and even Tiger Woods is in the mix. I'm still not warmed up to him again just yet but his game does his talking I suppose. Anyway, tomorrow should be a good one to watch.

If Westwood wins , I'm expecting Freddie Flintoff to meet him after the Scorers Hut with a Lager Top , en route to the Green Jacket ceremony .
Alas , Mickelson is looking ominious .

Did you guys just see the shot Mickleson made? Holy [Poor language removed]!!!

He's just made a better one !!!
The back nine is the scoring area . Mickelson is already 2 ahead . Thus Westwood needs 4 shots , not 2 , cause Phil the Lefty will defo make two .
Green Jacket #3 , in about an hour and ten , I'd say .
Gutted for Westwood , though .
Still , there's always the Ryder Cup .

Augusta is probably the most beautiful golf course I've ever seen.

St. Andrews . Old Course .
It all began there - NO MATTER WHAT THE FUKN YANKS THINK !!! - .

The most picturesque , too .
Augusta is gorgeous . Alas , it's history doesn't bare comparison .Both in the State and Hogey's mad arse dictatorship !!!

Yeah. But I wasn't talking about it's history, just it's looks. St Andrews is nice looking too.

Mickelson is looking like he'll win this

I would love to play at both before my time is done. Both beautiful courses.

I was pulling for Westwood but Mickelson was my sentimental favourite because of his wife and mum are both battling breast cancer.

TJ Choi the Korean had a superb day. Anyone but Tiger thankfully for me LCAB.

I was hoping Anthony Kim would win it after his run of birdies and an eagle.

Congratulations Mickleson.

Was there a picture worth more than words, for this Masters, than Mickleson making birdie on the 18th, and hugging his blonde wife, (recovering from breast cancer), and with his kids in tears? While back in Sweden there is another blonde wife probably in tears for another reason?

Tiger is a great golfer, and one that golfing needs. That being said, I grew tired of the sports pundits here, (all day today pre match), that speculated about whether this "MIGHT" be one of sports "greatest" come backs, if Tiger won.

NO, I think, It would have been a "great" comeback, if Elin had totally clobbered him, put him into the hospital for a few weeks, broke all of his clubs, so he could not even practice, and THEN, he won.

A "Great" comeback in my mind would be if, Charlie Davies makes the USMNT and manages to step foot on the WC field. Something for the record book would be if he scored or assisted in a goal. But then the US media pundits would never think of that.

Great post. Elin charging the green on eighteen would have been priceless taking Tiger down.

But in retrospect a great tourney. Kim did great. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/golf/8614407.stm
