If I hadn't seen it for both our U23s and England, I'd have thought he was just another Tony Hibbert watching him for the first team. But the lad loves to get forward and has got a decent end product in him too. He isn't in the same league as Seamus in that regard, but then who is?

Both Unsworth and Allardyce deserve credit for making the obvious decision to persist with Kenny at Right Back ahead of Martina or even Holgate. Sadly, the same can't be said of Koeman who hindered his development at the start of the season, along with some other of our younger players like Davies.

agree with you here but kids should be playing and developing in the u23s, being rotated into the squad for xp. its just a shame our squad and club are being mismanaged and full of bin juice that we have no other option

Because for some reason our fullbacks are the only ones who take them, they walk up to receive the ball from who ever is on the wing then wait for he opposition to get back in position.

Other teams take theirs quick while fat Sam gets all 10 players running back as fast as they can

Even taking into account the last couple of games in which he has been poor, Kenny, together with Holgate, have been our best defenders this season. At least at 20 & 21 they have a very valid excuse for their inconsistency.
