Al;ways been a strong Trade union activist - mostly early on ion my career was on low pay then when achieving my City and guilds grade 1 & 2 my employer would not give me my appropriate grade of pay used my Union -
Then on a management course Industrial relations was a big subject in My NEBBS exam studied in the library, and seen how the labour movement had worked for the average person to improve wages, and conditions in work ,m and in life -
I carried those attributes into upper management without any problems stood on picket lines etc and showed empathy to my staff - gained Manager status - I actually turned a good job down at Buxton as meeting the Director puit me off - quote we have no blacks here etc etc horrific I told him in writing were to stick his job -
I would say I am a centre middle of the road socialist hence I cannot vote for corbynism which I feel is Marxism.... I read the Daily Post in Liverpool when I lived there ....... Never read any other newspapers by the way.......
Also My late Father and Father in Law were miners ........
Thatcher I hated......
So why would you prefer Farage over Corbyn in an election.

I think Corbyn is essentially a Marxist, which would be in favour of the things you talk about above. But then I don't see Marxism as Communism, I see it as socialism.

I prefer to leave the EU like one of the other 17.4 million and believe in democrocy for the people.......
I don't like anti semitism either:dodgy:

I don't like Anti Semitism either. I'm not sure Corbyn is an Anti Semite, for criticism of Israel. It think there are plenty of people following him that don't understand the distinction (as there are plenty who don't follow him doing the same). Now you may argue he hasn't communicated his position effectively enough - and I agree with that, but that doesn't make him an Anti Semite.

The alternative in this scenario (Farage) is on record saying he believes there is a 'jewish lobby' controlling the media and law makers in the US :dodgy:

Likewise, I, as I have stated in this thread, am uncomfortable with a second referendum as I think you don't get to pick and choose the type of democracy we personally want because we don't agree with the majority - though I am deeply uncomfortable with the way the referendum was communicated and managed.

I find it absurd that the left and socialists are the defenders of the pro Capitalism EU in the Brexit scenario - because they are worried about a more brutal and unregulated form of capitalism. It's the reason Corbyn isn't in favour of the EU, but probably recognises that the most vulnerable are going to be the hardest hit under a hard Brexit. But he is mostly definitely in favour of Leave.

Its about beliefs individual stances Corbyn not an anti Semite is very debatable ATM..

Stats suggest there is less anti-semitism in the labour party under corbyn compared to milliband for example, and more is being done to tackle it. However what is undeniable is hate crimes rose and then peaked after the brexit leave campaign, you quickly jump on the supposed anti-semitism in labour because it suits your narrow narrative, however you have no problem at all with the bigotry and racism surrounding the leave campaign. You won't condemn it, you will in fact deny it's existence

I agree, but the debate needs to be given a fair hearing rather than simply shouting Anti - Semite at the man, based on any criticism of Israel.

I haven't heard much from Corbyn on the charge, largely as I suspect he doesn't think the climate is conducive to sensible debate.

But to afford Farage the benefit of in any way being less an Anti Semite when he's talked about a shadowy 'Jewish Lobby' controlling the media and law makers in America is not really a preferable option.

There's a new book coming out on Corbyn - by a top investigative journalist who @COYBL25 recommends let's see if that opens his can of worms, Momentum is a party within my party they are a cancer IMO..

Well I’m very sorry for you. I expect you spend your money as you want, on holidays, beer or whatever. I spend mine on healthcare....
I barely drink or go on holiday and I work two jobs. I was also doing a bit of cam whoring on the side to earn a bit of extra cash, and if Brexit causes me to lose my job I'll go back into it. Despite what Big Nev claims, it's not that much fun.

Private healthcare costs more than I can afford.
