As someone pointed out on Twitter, Dianne Abbott got more votes at the last election than Farage got in seven attempts at becoming an MP.
That is a spectacular stat

She should definitely have that statistic up her sleeve the next time someone tells her she doesn't know numbers. As someone pointed out on Twitter, Dianne Abbott got more votes at the last election than Farage got in seven attempts at becoming an MP.
The epitome of "up yours jack, I'm alright".

Hilarious, and yet, in one election, she managed to get more votes than Farage in seven. And as incompetent as people claim she is, she, to my knowledge has still not finished an election campaign behind a man dressed as a dolphin. She’d muck it up anyway and reverse the numbers or something.....

Freeing up the resources of the nhs? How the feck does that work when you are taking doctors away from the nhs to do private work? 2 tier system which is rapidly going towards the complete privatisation of said nhs.....feck all you plebs, I'm alright Jack attitudeThe epitome of paying my own way and freeing up NHS resources for others. I pay twice for my health care, others contribute nothing.....it’s not a case of I’m alright jack, it was a case of getting back into work asap, or do you think that Everton players should only use the NHS.......

This is ridiculous, they're a single issue party and Farage got what he wanted. Why can't he just sod off to America and go and rim Trump and leave us alone?![]()
'Thousands of Tory party members' to defect to Nigel Farage's Brexit Party as it gets official approval
Thousands of Conservative members are likely to defect to a new Brexit party which was officially recognised on Friday by the electoral regulator, its backers claim.www.telegraph.co.uk
The Electoral Commission on Friday formally recognised the Brexit Party as an official organisation which will allow it to field candidates at elections.
I suppose Farage has got to find a way to keep his EU money.
Devils' advocate: I work in a hospital and we have consultants who do both. They work here, which is an NHS hospital, and at private ones like the Alex or the Spire, they haven't completely given up on the NHS.Freeing up the resources of the nhs? Bully for you. A lot of us can't afford that. I know I can't. i work two jobs and still couldn't afford it, and doing the odd bit of cam whoring hasn't made me that much money either.I’ve been paying for my private health care for the last forty years......

Well I’m very sorry for you. I expect you spend your money as you want, on holidays, beer or whatever. I spend mine on healthcare....
What if you get run down crossing the road tomorrow...you'll be glad of the NHS then won't you?
Of course I would, and the taxes I pay should ensure that I get seen to. However, if I wish to spend my time recuperating in a private hospital, then it frees up an NHS bed and also gives me what I want, and I pay for it, so what’s the problem.....
