I sometimes seek solace in the cringeworthiness of politics in other countries, and there is actually a Pirate Party in Czech. Despite the frankly awful name, they're one of the better Czech parties, and certainly preferable to Ano, although Ivan Bartos' hair leaves a lot to be desired (although to be fair, that's an accusation that could be labeled at many Czech men).

in the last few minutes she basically said such small things like equality don't matter and most people won't vote based on these issues while brexit is the headline, sadly that appears to be the case as the leave voters burt their heads in the sand and make any number of excuses for the morally absent leaders of their campaign

They could want to make sex with 9 year olds legal and people would still vote for them so long as they promised to deliver Brexit
