It will be interesting how this one pans out with it being one of the Labour held constituencies that voted Leave in the referendum.
I don't think too much can be read into it as this isn't a general election, turnouts for by-elections are notoriously very low and it's a very marginal seat anyway. But it will still give a clearer picture than the euro elections which was very much a single issue vote.
If Brexit come out on top, I wouldn't be overly surprised. It will be interesting to see where the votes came from. I'd certainly expect to see a massive swing from the Tories, but it's the swing from Labour that could prove most telling if it comes to an early GE.
Bit of an anomaly seat as its not just going to be about brexit/manifestos, the main issue for Labour in this seat is the MP elected was jailed as a criminal, I'd imagine that will be the biggest thing to consider for anyone undecided voting there and an easy target for the other parties with leaflets etc

Peterborough is also Brexit country and has just voted Brexit party in the European elections. Coupled with Labour MP being a crook, Lib Dems quite a way behind and Brexit candidate being from Secret Millionaire think this election is going to be a cakewalk for them. As for leaflet have just had one from them saying Labour let P'boro down and Tories betraying everyone on Brexit. Rally on Sat with Nigel Farage tickets £2.50, doesn't say whether you can bring your own milkshake!
