Aah, well there's a shock.

Why on earth would anyone of right mind think joining the Brexit party would make things any less shambolic? I mean UKIP have been around long enough to vividly show off just how shambolic they are. I mean it's bad enough that they're horrendous people to begin with, but they're also utterly incompetent, so I'm not sure how joining Farage's mob will do anything to increase competence in Westminster.

I know, its absurd as a movement that wants to get rid of our broken politics having Stephen Dorrell as one of its candidates.

The saddest thing is that in the complete absence of policies or even candidates, you can only assume that the majority of people appearing to support this mob are doing so simply because they have Brexit in the name of the party, which is a pretty damning indictment of the intellect of the British electorate.

I was about to 'like' this until I noticed you weren't actually talking about CUK, as the post you quoted would suggest.

Shoe still fits though ; )

Are you really sure about that...an anti european party looking for votes in the european elections, seems arse about face to me.
Just who is fooling who(m?)
Everyone is fooling everyone. Farage has always struck me as personally embittered and would love to demolish the existing establishment so as to become the new establishment but he's not really any different. Count all the scales on a fish..... you've still got a fish.
My original post was intended to be apolitical.

True, but we fool ourselves more than we ever fool the rest of the world.
*ponders inserting gratuitous Who music video, but can't be arsed.
Edit.Farage comes accross to me as a bit 'up market used car salesman' has all the smooth suits, big house room for a pony...infact a bit male Hyacinth Bucketish, maybe too smooth/ trys a bit too hard...an unforgivable sin in some tory eyes. Which is why they're not too keen on him. They see a his inner Arthur Daley / Boysie

Yes indeed. I've always seen him as the political vandal. A cartoonist would draw a scenario of him outside Westminster throwing his stones at the Westminster windows, while giving it bifters with his big fish like gaping gob. To what aims is where the debate is at.
