The Long Ball

Should it be outlawed,I hate it from the goalie one bounce and one touch in it goes,kills the game for me.Most goalies could only get to the half way line at one time was it because the ball was heavier?.The ball needs to be limited to how far up the pitch it should go to keep the game flowing,What do ya think?

Would be an idea.

You are penalised if the ball doesn't bounce before passing the halfway line from the goalkeeper.

Simples.

Freekick on the halfway line.

Course this will end up in the keeper knocking it out to the full back who will then hoof it......

It's a good idea. RS would be f*****, just watching them trounce Villa.

They tried it against us. Long ball, long ball, long ball. Because they didnt have a clue how to play football against us.

I'm not a fan of long ball, but it has a place in the game. What I'm loving at the moment is talking to mates of mine, (Liverpool supporters), about all the stick they've given me about how bad a team must be to resort to long ball tactics. Last two games eh lad's. :lol:
