I will rack my brain for phrases I hate.

My least favourite is 'in all fairness.'

I'd be unable to communicate with my friends with out Dude. I use it to begin sentences, end sentences, to describe people, or just to register displeasure, with one word..."Dude".

It's a small one...but over here people use "irregardless" all the time. It's "regardless". No need for "ir".

I actually feel genuine anger towards people who write lol or even worse, someone actually said it to me in conversation. Lol. Just like that. Like what I'd said made him feel like laughing out loud but it was a bit too much effort.

I've never typed it or said it, kids using it as you say and not even laughing. tits.

'Hashtag' is creeping in to normal speak which is infuriating - was on the train and these two girls were talking "you shudda seen the dress she has on, i was ashamed, hashtag ugly"
