We'll keep the Red Flag flying here.
Against the wall. All of you.
And yet, everything they've thrown at him, he's beaten away.
That wet wipe Owen Smith got dealt with and Corbyn increased his majority. Also, shout out to any Tories has spent 3 quid on voting for our Jez, big up lads and thanks for giving us our Left back.
It's time to get behind him and shut up. Hold your nose if need be and swallow it for the sake of the party because your Blairism, your 'New Labour' is dead.

Still not clear cut that is the case, yes Corbyn had the MP's and press against him but he still had just about the weakest Tory party possible to go up against. With all the U-turns and disastrous policies that would have stopped some of their core older voters from turning up.
It was a great result for Labour from what it could have been but does it prove that New Labour is defunct, I'm not so sure. A David Miliband or Andy Burnham centre-left ticket would have won that election.

A centre-left candidate wouldn't have had the youth vote.
A centre-left candidate wouldn't have had the youth vote.
Absolutely no chance any other candidate would have brought out the Youth vote.

His, or rather their in reality, social media campaign was very very good. And effective.
But like a few have mentioned, now the dust has settled, he gained not that many seats, and didnt actually win. Against an absolute drain of a Tory campaign.
He came from a low point, according to polls a few weeks back, and his personal contribution to the campaign was absolutely key. And very impressive.
Question is, when/if another GE is called, will the same fervour for him be there, (with Da Yoof) and will the Tories be quite so chronic?
And will the electoral landscape be shaped not by Dementia Tax and the like, but a dawning realisation amongst the electorate that its all about Brexit? This time wasnt. Even though it was. If that makes sense.
For all I know, he might walk the next one, but for all those making the swinging assumption that he will, remember the name. Theresa May.
Considering many of us were considering the prospect of the political wilderness, winning 29/30 seats whilst taking 40% of the vote share and seeing a swing of close to 10% is a fine result for us, regardless of whatever anyone says.
If there is a snap election called before the end of the year and there is a real chance of a Labour win, the Youth vote will come back out, absolutely.
