Have your friends close but your enemies closer, it's a good strategy in politics...
The media were working hand in glove with the LP backbenchers, so it was an impossible task. Their function is to destroy any form of politics that questions the social relations of the system we live under. There was no 'building' relationships with a pack of hyenas like them.

His record as DPP, his kow-towing to the apartheid Israeli state, his refusal to endorse any established Labour policy of the last five years since he came in as leader, his dismissal with a pretext to take out of his shadow cabinet Long-Bailey, his support for a Bill to wave through human rights abuses by the British Army....
Perhaps,hope you're wrong.

Clearly the revolutionary tactic is too much of a stretch for UKs electorate, can argue the rights and wrongs, however, those are the cultural rules. Either play by the rules and then change from within or not ... By nature we are measured small conservative country, unlike the various French or Irelands James Connolly revolutionaries Until there is some policy to chew over, it's just stone throwing..

Chopped a kings head off once.

Setting up a society like we had in the post war period doesn't take a revolution.

The post war society. I assumed you meant WW2, not the Falklands.

What was it like? As you seem to want a return to it I assume you know what it was like.

A post war consensus based on full employment, a comprehensive welfare system, free education, and the commitment to a mixed economy. All followed by Labour and Tory governments until Heath started the attack on that consensus - before being battered back by the miners - and then Thatcher renewed the fight. Since then we've had neo-liberalism, the rule of the market and the atomisation of people to such an extent you get the utter scumbag repsonse to a pandemic we see on our streets right now.

So you want a different Government, not a return to 1946 living standards, rationing, rebuilding ruined cities, etc etc.

Cos thats what a lot of Brexit voters voted for. Rule Britannia and all that.

And oh, I am in the welfare system these days, and its not too shabby. Despite what some say.

This disgusting slug gets to keep her job, while her predecessor gets sacked for 'liking' of a tweet.

The type of double standards you expect from a leader who condones and votes for torturers to walk away scot-free.
Green's comments were disgraceful...seems Max Headroom is OK with that sort of remark though.
