No, it isn't.
The line is still (as per Corbyn...and in fact Starmer) that the 6 tests that the Brexit deal has to pass for the LP to get behind it is still the party line. If it fails to address that then they tell the Tories to get it back to the EU to make it work...they wont and that's when they'll collapse. That is the strategy and that is the line...it was this morning and it is right now.
As said: there is NOTHING when all is said and done that has changed in the LP line on Brexit.

That's to miss the point though. The line is the line. It hasn't shifted and the order of the response to any such eventuality is still the order it was in: push for GE; failing that - talk about a possible way of breaking the impasse by going back to the people and offer them options (always remembering that the LP would not have the power to call any referendum). That discussion would likely be an offer to get behind a Norway version of Brexit as opposed to a Canada style one. A backstop would be to have a Norway / remain choice.
I repeat: if you knew the LP position before this week's conference then you know it hasn't deviated, despite all the mood music.

It seems Starmer has kept everything on the table today. Cant say I blame him.
Either way, this isnt Labours mess, yet, and if the roles were reversed, the Tories would do the exact same thing.
Yet another reason I voted Stay has seemingly raised its head these last few weeks; pointless chaos.
It's a big gamble as there last manefesto stated Brexit would take place -40 percent of Labour voters voted Brexit I was not going for anyone in the GE as I think both leaders are useless - if it's Labour trying to reverse the referendum then I will vote Tory against my will.....
Maybe that will be the end of corbynism.......

No more Brexiteer than me through the 90s until 2005, that was the end of getting out the EU 2005. Gave up accepted people did not care, then 11 years later people wake upto the idea, when its far to late and why i voted remain, the stable doors were open and pegged wide open, shambles this Brexit.
