Yes, I mean it isn’t as if your first post on the thread yesterday had a quoted example directly before it of me blaming the Labour Party for wasting money and ruining a town centre or anything.

As for demonstrably wrong, that should be obvious. You’ve successively claimed you said something you didn’t, that I’d approved of the policy when no such statement was made and implied that I’d said Labour were not to blame for the waste when at no point had that been said.

What makes it even crazier is that this started with a post where I specifically said there should be no tax rises for anyone, which was last time I checked quite at variance with current Labour policy.

So this isn’t about taking the moral high ground, it’s about you having an imaginary argument.

Yes, that is exactly the kind of imaginary argument you have been having. As was pointed out to you already, and was clear from the original comment, that was not about people losing their jobs.

Barking is notoriously Labour First led, so it's likely to have come from the Labour right - to be honest.

I do agree there mate. What I like about her though is that she's not scared to speak out against the party (I know some will say she has an agenda against Corbyn) something that a lot of other Labour MPs are afraid to do under Corbyn.

Has she ever been threatened with deselection? Seems a bizarre one, especially as she represents an overwhelming remain part of London so can't even say she's representing her constituents.

Yes. Vauxhall CLP no confidence-d her last year (iirc), and the right had a good go at getting rid in around 2007 when she was close to Boris in his first term as Mayor, though that was more because they dominated Lambeth Labour and saw that they had a then unorthodox MP in a really safe seat that they preferred to have themselves. She was also parachuted in over a lot of local candidates originally of course.

At the risk of repeating myself it is a shame in many ways, as a constituency MP she was actually really good at holding national and local government to account for wrongdoing but this Brexit mess has completely destroyed her mind. Almost all the goodwill she had earned has been spent now, which might explain these antics.

No idea mate, doubt she'd be endorsed for the next election like. Surprised her constituency aren't asking a lot of baffled questions.

She is not standing at the next election.

She wasn’t meant to stand again afyer 2015 but I think they were caught on the hop in 2017 and she had to run as there was no time to sekect a new candidate.
