It should have been phrased The Jewish signatories of the letter, which in fairness I would imagine is what the poster meant. It is a fair point in all of this. There's something quite unhinged I find about people who aren't Jewish, attacking some people who are Jewish for having an opinion on anti-semitism. It probably goes both ways, but the idea that the Jewish community is a monolithic block that all support the state of Israel is just not true.

Indeed, Chris Williamson, non Jewish, but huge supporter and advocate of people who define themselves as Jewish, however, doing so can now make you an anti-Semite, strange times.

Also one of things he took a dislike to was my stating several times that we won’t tolerate any racism.

Seems an odd thing to take umbrage with considering he was also of this view.

Having NOT watched the programme but seen the discussion on the news this morning. I am still asking myself, what exactly has been said within the Labour ranks.

Can someone please tell me who has said what and to whom. I cannot find any quotes or anything.

Surely it is some individuals who have the issue not the party as a whole?!

It wasn't an easy programme to watch and it is clear there is a problem in Labour over anti-semitism but will anything change in the coming weeks/months? No.

Will there be a leadership challenge? Probably not and if there was Corbyn would win again anyway.

Just wish there was as much interest in the Tories and Islamaphobia as both are disgusting and both will put off lots of voters whenever the next election is.

Having just read a bit about David Collier I am not sure I will bother. He looks to be firmly in the "criticise Israel and it is anti Semitic" types. Dangerous ground IMO. I will read more after the cricket.
