So the current Labour suspends members for threatening to murder an MP, expels members who vote Lib Dem.

That is completely insane.

As long as you are on the side of Dear Leader, you're almost bullet proof. If you disagree with Dear Leader, then whenever possible you're purged in short order.

Oh, and for what feels like the fiftieth time at this point, I will say that Labour should simply own up to the blatant anti-semitism that is institutional in the party and do something about it.

It's an ongoing, completely avoidable disaster for them. The problem is it requires real leadership and putting the party over personal politics to fix it. For example, expelling the likes of Livingstone like they did Campbell, especially given what he said and did was 1020743846x times worse.

He's pretty much Satan if you ask me. Have loathed him since the Blair years. Almost singlehandedly responsible for much of today's cynicism towards and disillusionment with politics.

I don't have a problem with Campbell being punted - except for the hypocrisy. Livingstone demonstrates repeated blatant anti-semitism; a half-hearted suspension and he gets the chance to resign instead of being booted is the result. Campbell says he had to vote Lib Dem - booted permanently within 48 hours.

Well both gone now. Well, apart Campbell is appealing so I doubt he would have taken any invitation to resign as his gravy train stops once removed from Labour, as he becomes irrelevant to the media. A just ending to unelected political spin doctor.

I'm convinced some of them have resigned 4 or 5 times but just keep repeating it to keep themselves relevant.

These people never were Labour and never will be. They jumped on a bandwagon because it looked good for them at the time but now some decent socialist policies have come along they don't want to know.

The actual hilarity of it all is their level of self importance. The only people that care are their mates in television studios. No one else bats an eyelid when they bugger off.



Classic example here. Any sort of decent journalist would be asking why he wasn't expelled and facing war crimes charges years ago.
