Jeremy Corbyn and the truth about Tom Bower's book
A biography about the Labour leader systematically distorts the truth, writes Peter Obornewww.middleeasteye.net
Of all people to defend Corbyn.
If you have not read the book then you can't pass comment @COYBL25 recomeneded the author on any investigation, and Tom Bower has wrote many on all people in walks of life is usually top of his field - let's face it what politicians do not have skeletons in their cupboards?......Not read the book so difficult to comment also not particularly a corbynista however just heard the author on lbc twisting words about David Lammy . Doesn’t bode well for the accuracy of his written word , the brief chat on Lammy was at best disingenuous and at worst dishonest

We are talking of a future leader of our country here hence the books title Dangerous Hero - I am only two chapters in so I can only pass comment on what has unfolded so far .....
Bower himself gather eyewitnesses first exposures are that Corbyn used people and broke rules from day one in the Labour Party - living in luxury in his family house in Kent - not a great reader of books he claimed to have read to move up the ladder, and seeking power from day one using others a typical politician.....
His first scandal was getting elected to Harrenday Council and being paid as a full time NUPE represenentitive and backing strikes against his employer - a big conflict interest ....
The worrying aspect when he was young he loved to see the UK get hurt business wise....
As I stated the book is a good read so far, and some things have to be balanced out in today's corrupt polictics......
If that's the case he remains un sued.......He doesn't quote sources and many 'instances' have been declared by false by named witnesses and the times he states events happening, in some instances, could not have happened due to Corbyn being provably elsewhere.
I only purchased the book as @COYB25 recommended the author as he is a great investigative reporter covering many people ....not read much as yet but I have the chance to observe it as it stands without reading it....He doesn't quote sources and many 'instances' have been declared by false by named witnesses and the times he states events happening, in some instances, could not have happened due to Corbyn being provably elsewhere.

I started this one, and as you say his track record is second to noneIn fairness to @Joey66 , as far as I`m aware Bowers has never been sued by any of the many people he has written books about.
What I take from that, is that his material is factual and watertight legally.
I haven`t yet read the book, so can`t comment on it, but I`ve read a couple of his others. They`re well written and researched.

Or those he writes about choose not to hand his faction publicity to help him sell yet more his tittle-tattle books. In fairness to @Joey66 , as far as I`m aware Bowers has never been sued by any of the many people he has written books about.

If you haven`t read any of his books Dave, I`d recommend - Broken Dreams - the Wembley fiasco / corruption within the English game, to start with.
He`s a good author.
