getting suspended from your job is bad enough, but having the whole of the UK public know you are a member of a whatsapp group called ‘Trigger me Timbers’ would be enough to send me into a career as a monk on a Scottish island where I can live out my final days cringing alone in peace.

Apparently the WhatsApp group Gwynne and Ryan (now suspended, btw) was reported to Labour regional HQ over a year ago with nothing done about it.
The WhatsApp Group in question had a handful of local MPs nd the entire Tameside Council Labour group posted on it and absuing Rayner and Abbott, and black's, Jews, the elderly and the disabled.
Guaranteed Tameside wont be alone in this behaviour. The LP had their chance to clean house when the Forde Report recommended sweeping changes to the way that party conducted its disciplinary process regarding discrimination toward black and Muslim groups and its institutional misogyny.
