Not the first or last time sadly that Jess Philips has been subjected to these kinds of threats.

See Space Man that goes by Musk has got the Tories calling for the ethnicity data to be released from the CSA Inquiry will backfire quite badly as it turns out abusers are majority white (given the population demographics of the UK).

Depends really if its just an infill of temporary private entities with contracts to get waiting lists down to a manageable level for the NHS.

Not even a thin end of a wedge. The private sector is the process of gaining control and will make rapid progress under Starmer's Party, because they'll contribute to his election funds.

By the way, what happens when waiting times go up for private operations so those people then also place their names on NHS waiting lists, betting that having two tickets for the prize is smarter than having one...if the NHS waiting times are coming down too?

Wasn't one of them called Scouse Nationalist or some such muck?

No doubt a Kopite.

Doubt they will for private, what tends to happen is the private sector tends to take the uncomplicated. Get them in get them out. If that creates space for the NHS to see more complicated cases sooner then better outcomes for patients who are "comorbid". Once the Private gets waiting lists down i dare say they will scale back business model to keep shareholders happy. Use and abuse Private sector i say, no point in building up capacity in the NHS that will end up over staffed at our expense. Or will be having PIP and Attendance allowance means tested next.

Yeah, makes sense. Some people cant get private ops as per the Starmer 'solution' because of co-morbidities. Stuff like knee and hip ops, for example.

...which will probably be the majority on waiting lists in the NHS.

Is the new rules regarding this type of op or is it just 'minor' stuff like ear, nose and throat?

Have more issues with Private Care elsewhere like Learning Disabilities Children Care Homes, Care at Home Companies, Social Services where local authorities have commissioned out services.

Welfare's a mess that wont be getting fixed by Starmer's lot and their 'kick the can down the road a few years' reviews.

Oh I think Streeting and Starmer have been exceptionally clever and astute in making social care a cross party issue. Otherwise we would have ended up with Death/Dementia tax as we approached the election and it would have been kicked into the Amazon. Most people including myself are in complete denial about the true cost required to support people with needs, young or old.

I have great respect for you mate.

The shame of it all is that if we scrapped useless stuff like a fleet of nuclear weapon carrying subs and the upkeep of it's systems we could plunge billions into social care and the NHS.

Between 2023-2033 it's calculated that £118 billion will be spent on 'the nuclear deterrent'. A shocking waste of money that could do real good invested on the well being of people rather than the incineration of people.

A nuclear deterrent is to stop the incineration of people but you knew that already Dave, as I’m sure you understand the word deterrent.

Ha ha ha.

Yeah: let's stop the world being incinerated...by spending a £118 billion on weapons and delivery systems that incinerates the world.

Nice one.

The nuclear budget can cut in one fell swoop if switched to social care most of our peoples issues in a decade.

For someone as active in the Ukraine & Israel threads it’s hilarious that you don’t understand the reasoning behind a nuclear deterrent.

There’s plenty of money about for us to sort out social care, there’s been political decisions the last 14 years not to.

Funny how all the MPs can find themselves millions of pounds in taxpayers money isn’t it?

Starmer should be banged to rights over his Spy Cops rapist enabling.

He signed all those off: state-sanctioned mass rapes.

That's one thing he is guilty of, for sure.

Maybe, finally, that historic sex crime he was at the heart of will come front and centre.
Spoken like a true Reform, slack jawed scumbag.
