Alleged... Just for legal sake
The spotlight of scrutiny applies to all people in public service. It's a phenomenon tory supporters find impossible to grasp.

I reckon mandelson is us ambassador because he is one slippery serpent tongued twit*. He'll fit right in watching the psychos and sycophants of the trump regime. Hopefully while he's out there he can kick nick clegg very very hard in the balls.

Named in a scheme stealing billions abroad, and is the head of anti fraud here. This'll be an interesting watch.
Just seen that on the news.

If this was a Tory mp we’d all be shouting from the rooftops.

It’s really not looking good for Starmer & co so far.

I really don't understand this given that most of it is just mud slinging in the hope that with a constant barrage some sticks.

Look at the controversy so far, in the eyes of the electorate:

Farmers - literal millionaires moaning about having to pay the same tax as the rest of the population

WASPI Women - people wanting to be compensated for not paying attention to national news, that they were informed about over decades.

Winter Fuel - a move to means test a benefit only avaible to the wealthiest section of society.

Industrial Action - quickly resolved.

People will rightly look at what the country has to prioritise and think who is more deserving of money...

Farmers or post office victims.

WASPI women or infected blood victims.

I blame the WASPI farmers… using the fuel allowance to keep them stinging pests warm through the colder months

It’s not just mud slinging though. It’s an appointed member of Starmers team involved in a potential embezzlement scandal.

Since they have been in power they have also had an MP punching somebody in the street and Haigh having to resign for previous misdemeanours. Exactly the types of things we were calling the Tory’s out for previously.

As for the rest of the stuff you wrote, I’m not in disagreement with any of that.
The WFA was the most tempestuous decision out of all so far as the PR from it was never going to be positive. Possibly the worst PR decision I’ve seen since Moshiri hired Pigman.

But let’s not be two faced and try to sugar coat scandals we’d lambast Tory’s for.
