Myself live in rural area, farming in Powys is known as "old money", the same farming families inter-marrying absolutely filty rich sure the odd dynasty newest generation cocks its all up through other interests. There is near zero sympathy outside their cicrles and Tory grifters. Because they are asset rich and filthy cash rich. we know this not becuase of their vehicles they drive or how they dress, but muliple empty properties and multiple foreign holidays, drinking and dinning habits, they are simply loaded.

When you do some digging into this from the Express, you'd have to be shockingly lazy and/or stupid to be 'furious' at the newly elected Labour goverment for this spending.

I didn’t blame them for it. However instead of imposing IHT on our farms, here’s an idea completely off the wall, stop spending the £500million and reverse the IHT for farmers…and this is down to the Labour Party……..

How do you stop spending something which has already been spent?

*you just read the headline didn't you*

Regarding the potential arrest of the war criminal Netanyahu if he landed on these shores:

Yvette Cooper British Home Secretary:

"We respect the ICC, its independence, and we are clear of its role, which is different from the UK government’s role. The vast majority of international criminal court cases do not become a matter for the UK legal processes, law enforcement processes, or for the UK Government. So for that reason, you would not expect me to, and I can’t, as home secretary, comment on how those legal processes would be implemented in any individual case."

Irish Taoiseach Simon Harris

"Irish police would arrest Netanyahu if he arrived in Ireland. We support international courts and we apply their warrants.”

It's not that often (have they ever?!) indicted a western country or ally.

It's not that surprising Cooper is stumped as to what the implication is.

She might want to go and have a read of the ICC Act though.

Cooper knows the embarrassment it'd cause her own boss who also agreed that war crime acts should take place in Gaza.

Brexit didn’t screw farmers, Starmer and Reeves have…….

I thought we were headed in this direction.
