The most off-putting thing about that article is how poorly it’s written. I expected the content to be bunkum, but the prose is awful. Can’t believe she gets paid to write.

Never heard of her, but a quick spin through her article history suggests she's a dreadfully dreary person moaning about seagulls and saying women shouldn't work from home as they can't show off their nice clothes in the office. And has periodic anti-Woke stuff too. Grrr, pronouns. Grrr, Scotland.

As the Telegraph is paywalled I'm thankfully saved from being able to read any of it (a fact that post-happy hour Pete seems to forget, gleefully dropping links here).

This isn't even me being partisan, I read the Guardian's news pages every day but they have some opinion columnists who are outright wastes of web-hosting fees banging on about nonsense daily.

I couldn’t resist reading the archive version, and it really is dreadful writing.

As you say, is across the board and indicative of the required output rates needed of traditional print media these days.

If I was to complement the writer, I’d say at least she didn’t use ChatGPT to write the article, as it would have been far better constructed.

…and the budget hasn’t kicked in yet…we are screwed …..

Looking at how much Starmer and Reeves are on their knees kissing Trump's arse it underlines just how much their plans are in tatters if he goes ahead and places tariffs on British goods and services.

12ft ladder let's you past the paywall if you fancy a good giggle.

Oh I've definitely gone and found ways to view some of the ones with the maddest headlines, but I'm not going to faff about for the usual weak stuff Pete tries to get people to read here.

Anyway, another roaringly successful week in the bag for the Starmer Regime. Sensible policies, sensible politics. Time to enjoy a few hours of afternoon peace before the pub opens.
