But Dave, surely there's a conflict of interest when unions give gifts like this and we see large pay rises for unionised industries at the expense of Tory and Brexit voting pensioners?
Yes. Definitely. @peteblue said we have and that the unions will have Labour over a barrel because they caved in over it. This is clearly the direct cause for pensioners losing WFA.I mean have we seen any "large" pay rises. We have seen pay rises recommend by an impartial body I believe.
And pay rises far below both cumulative inflation, and below where they should be in real terms over the last 15 years.
I would say paying people less in real terms is small.
Let's hope we see some large increases for working people, after the service we/they have probably voted, we definitely deserve it.

Workers have been underpaid for a long time. Labour have been elected to rectify that. They have made a tiny step in that direction.
