I’ll give them 2 days of cold weather before they start eating each other
Come on mate. Are you telling me a family from Barnsley, quite evidently with medical issues and probably disabilities, is the problem rather than the bankers, the tax dodgers and the MPs who give themselves pay rises while people starve and are made to suffer humiliating capability for work assessments.

Pensioners put into fuel poverty while Starmer's wife gets her 'high-end clothes' paid for by party donors.

Keir Starmer's personal worth stands at almost £8M, so he cant be expected to foot these bills himself, obviously.

More 'tough choices', I suppose.

Welcome to the world of Red Toryism..

And what about the pensioners who do need it? The kind of logic this article lends itself to is ridiculous and plays right into the govt's hands. Should we scrap the NHS because a few people misuse it?
You hope the pensioners that require the funds will receive it. As the means tested benefits tend to do. It will mean some will miss out by a few quid and they will be affected. But the move I think is a sensible move.

The NHS is under massive pressures. I wouldn't say people intentionally misuse it. But the backlogs caused by multiple reasons, some the Tories and COVID have really caused millions of Brits health to decline, as they haven't received the treatment they require.

Again you just have trust that this Government can resolve it. Some don't like the fact of increasing wages for the public sector. But to actually allow staff to stop striking and help reduce the waiting list. Is a massive cost benefit to the NHS and it's budgets, something I think a few haven't thought about.

Call us back when a few free frocks is the same as a VIP lane to give vital contracts to your unqualified school chums without a bidding process.

This is Reeves heating costs vs that Tory who claimed for his duck castle on expenses.

You can try to say they’re the same but they really aren’t.
I see a multi-millionaire using party funds to buy his wife 'high-end' clothes.

What do you see?

What I see is false equivalency.

“Party funds” is a massive stretch too.
Donations fo into party funds which Starmer used to buy his wife 'high end' clothes with.

You can spin it any way you want, but that's corruption. That cash was never meant for her...and that's all besides the fact Starmer has £8M personal wealth and should spend that on her 'high-end' fashion tastes...especially when he's plunging pensioners into fuel poverty.

A couple of outfits for official election events the leader's wife would be expected to attend? A reasonable use of donations, but I do agree Starmer isn't exactly hard up himself and wonder what sort of cost that could run to.

No, that’s not what I’m telling you at all.

In fact, I never even suggested that.
