Quiet bat people, the every day heroes who'd hand in an umbrella. Everyday wobbles essentially.Watched the bbc breakfast interview with Streeting this morning regarding their health care plan for children and school breakfast clubs policy. Plan is to introduce teeth brushing to kids at these breakfast clubs. Bad oral health is now a major issue and putting a further strain on the NHS.
It was obvious Monchetty was going to give him a proper grilling over this and rightly so.
It’s these kind of policies which to be fair are probably good ideas, but not exactly the kind of issues the floating voter is going to get excited about.
It’s not up there with The Thick of It’s “silent bat people” but will possibly be looked at with the same derision by the MSM.
Same here, always voted labour. Don’t think I will be voting labour again. You must ask questions about this friend of Israel thing, to all labour candidates for the next election.
They are being manipulated by a foreign regime.
He’s a shadow Tory after slagging off CorbynTry not to vote for the tories this time around, James.
One of the littel 's' breed, too! He’s a shadow Tory after slagging off Corbyn
Clueless as everThis guy is the most obnoxious, arrogant and condescending t**t I come across on social media...
Right from the off, of this clip at least, blaming the Tories for the life expectancy issue... no mention of personal responsibility. Stalling/falling life expectancy is largely down to lifestyle choices, mostly made when we are adults. Too much drinking, not enough physical activity, eating a crap, ultra-processed diet, and sometimes, a combination of all of the above.
As for his parenting comments, yes I agree, not all parents can help with eating disorders and mental health issues, and do need support from the state. And access to dentists can be difficult. But, you don't need to be in 'in a position of great privilege and wealth' to know the basics, such as daily brushing of teeth and potty training of toddlers is important!
Our teachers shouldn't be using their time changing nappies and brushing teeth. On the odd occasion, where needed and appropriate, then fine. But this shouldn't be the norm.
Mr White Sir, do you think that people suddenly stopped taking personal responsibility under the Conservative government? Why might they take more personal responsibility under a labour government? This guy is the most obnoxious, arrogant and condescending t**t I come across on social media...
