Indeed the mess this country is in after 13 years of Tory Government will be at the forefront of most voter's minds. Not what's happening in Gaza, as upset about it as people clearly are.

Genuinely Pete, in the race to the bottom, when is it enough for you? When your grandkids are in energy/council tax debt and having to turn to foodbanks? Or is it when they get burgled and the police don't come? Or when they get hurt and an ambulance doesn't come? Or your grandkids kid, who can't get the access to mental heath or intervention services.

These things (and many others) don't affect you today, but look around, man. Look how everything is worse off... for all working people and decide: do you want to dig your heels in or help bring the change? Maybe you have decided.

I'm not trying to make it personal, I'm just trying to understand the psyche and motives of the older Tory voter.

There’s this false narrative that’s been created that he was back stabbed and forced out when in truth he was enabling a sex pest. It’s not only Pete that says this.
It’s a disingenuous attempt to distract from failure of governance.

Totally agree.

The pathetic thing is the rank and file little Englander Tories, like old Petey, want the fat bumbling narcissistic mess to still be around and have the opportunity to come and white knight the Tory party one day, so they perpetuate and allow this false tale to continue, and in doing so they continue to enable and promote failure from the very depths of their party, with the likes of truss, Braverman and sunak, so nothing will ever change.

I pray they continue to in fight themselves into oblivion and hope labour can get their act together properly in the interim.

lets see what the 'jungle' does for somethings image, hancock has gone out of it's way to plaster it's mug on every show it could get onto to try to rehabilitate it's nonsense reputation, it's no accident the Rwanda thing wont die off even when its most staunch supporter has had to walk the plank partly because of it.

Let’s not forget the long lasting financial effects of both Covid and the Ukraine war. Just look at what both did to our clubs finances. I do however disagree with this current government and Sunak and Hunt in particular. Neither is a leader, neither has any vision, both are doing standard bean counting things on costs with little emphasis on growth. Sunak does not inspire and while Hunt may fiddle around the edges of taxation, nothing is being given to taxpayers, and nothing to businesses even key drivers like corporation tax are going up. I’ve mentioned before that everything I do and have done is for my kids and grandkids, so yes I was pleased to get Boris into no.10. The coup performed by Sunak and co will not be forgiven by conservative voters. This current bunch I will not be voting for…..

People with his mindset will think "If my Grandchildren havent got their own house by 18, then its their own fault, they didnt work hard enough".
