If you'd bothered to read the article I linked above you'd know that the LP under Corbyn even in 2019 got 10.2 million people to vote for it; and in 2017 the LP under Corbyn attracted almost 13 million people to vote for it.

In comparison...

Under Miliband in 2015 = 9.3 million voted for the LP
Under Brown in 2010 = 8.6 million voted for the LP
Under Blair in 2005 = 9.5 million voted for the LP

...let's see how many Starmer's LP attracts against a Tory government in the bin. I suspect it won't be as many as Corbyn attracted in 2017.

Na Just as I thought really, not bothered reading my reply, you're agenda overtakes you're rational thought of everything Dave, I'll not bother again, you're mind is set.

It's not Starmer who's 'worked wonders' in turning the LP fortunes around it was Corbyn: The stats are there:

Under Corbyn in 2019 - 10.5 million voted for the LP
Under Corbyn in 2017 = 13 million voted for the LP
Under Miliband in 2015 = 9.3 million voted for the LP
Under Brown in 2010 = 8.6 million voted for the LP
Under Blair in 2005 = 9.5 million voted for the LP

Whatever the Manchurian Candidate polls at the next election he does so from a Labour voting electorate revived by Corbyn. Only Brexit obscures that...and even then only if you're a bit 'kin dim.

Well I'll stick to being a " a bit 'kin dim" thanks, you carry on turning into a 'kin lunatic". We're done Dave.

That's lovely, if we were in a proportional representation system.

Unfortunately Corbyn attracted more votes in seats he didn't need to win for power.

Which was always the problem - if you loved him, you loved him. But a lot really didn't. In the seats needed to win a majority.

Corbyn was at that march yesterday so I expect Israel to back off by tomorrow.
Bruce back on familiar territory, opposing the left.

The taste test on Starmer is that someone like you would vote for him and the party he controls.

That should be enough to mark any other poster's card on the coming election.

It's not though. If we lived in the vast majority of other democracies they'd be winning positions, or certainly positions to wield power from.

Stats and possession versus points and wins applies to every league.
As I said, that's lovely, but it isn't how our system currently works.

Basically he was the Roberto Martinez of the Labour Party. Record points total, but only 5th place.
