Getting Britain's Future Back has to be one of the worst focus-grouped slogans I've ever seen. Nothing encapsulates Starmer's politics more than that meaningless nonsense.

I was in the car and they said on 5 live that a protestor had thrown Glitter on Starmer and a for a brief second I thought they meant Gary Glitter.

Well I am the sort of bloke he needs to appeal to I am afraid. And after the speech, at least I have some idea what he is all about. I know he narks "The Left" off, but that isnt that important to me.

Worst part is, pre-leader Starmer wasn't terrible.

I hate that he genuinely likes football but whenever he talks about it, he sounds as if he's just jumped on the bandwagon. The focus group stuff gets sarcastic laughs now but its all very true

You know that Starmer and the rest of his frontbenchers were the reason that Labour pushed for that undemocratic second referendum last time out right?

I could go with Burnham, but certainly don't think the PLP could.
