They will stick with him , like they have done with the last two, everyone says they are not coming over well enough to win an election but the they carry on regardless, and carry on losing.

Myself convinced much of Westminster has been aware of these events since when they happened and Starmer's hard work over the last few months reached it's crescendo today. In that he's not called for Johnson to resign before means when he finally uttered the words "resign" they had more impact than if he'd been constantly calling for Johnson to resign, professional protesters had their way it would be everyday.
Starmer played a long game for maximum effect.

Im amazed that this seems to be a suprise. Isnt this just standard lobbying, cash for access that every polital party does. Lobbying and large donations or gifts of any kind should be banned outright otherwise this is the risk.

Don't believe in gloating and Starmer should have stayed well away from that Tory platform... Also left the jokes out, lot of angry and grieving people over these parties. I wish he could take more control. The whole thing was ridiculous today. Ask a question, get a totally different answer.

I don't think it should be allowed. There should be a rule where you have to answer the question that is asked, or be in contempt of parliament.
Non of the big players looked good today for me, other than Davies.

Then again apparently Labour's sign up site has crashed due to the amount of new members today.. Maybe this deflection has been good PR for them and made people look at Labour as being a place now for many Tories who feel homeless..

Starmer spends twenty minutes rambling on and slagging off Boris before he actually asks a question. I’m sure he thinks it makes him look plausible, but I can’t help thinking ‘get on with it’. Today was worse than normal…….
