Know exactly what you mean mate. We have to contend with being linked with a "swoop" for charlie adam (who i rate by the way!) while them lot at least get to dream of benzema !

to be honest given the certainty of not signing a new contract I think we are in a win-win here. Either

1 - he signs a pre-contract with a foreign club - we get 5 more months of Pienaar
2 - We sell to someone for £3m ish - we get money in the bank and his wages of the payroll

I think I would prefer him staying to the end of the season but can see benefits in both - providing we sell abroad and not to Spurs!
