Why? Would that striking force equal long ball stoke football next year? I think that Beckford, Saha and Long are all better suited for a passing game. Ba may be a long ball guy with his height. but honestly, a little of both wouldn't hurt if it meant we scored and won. With our midfield we will play nice football no matter what, we just needed some cutting edge at the end

Good point there. I just have a feeling that strike partnership would have the power to penetrate and leave a gaping hole in the opposing rear.

If we went 4-3-3 and managed to get Paul Dickov and Uwe Fuchs out of retirement, what a forward line that would be with Shane Long to penetrate and get stuck in all over the place.
