Clearly the ones in the Paddock didnt shout "Shoot" loud enough, cos thats about the only way we can stop him going backwards, by giving him that brief split second thought that maybe he should, the collective prayers during that split second are usually enough to ensure that he doesnt shoot though.
How come he doesnt pass back with a sand wedge of a foot though ?
If he even hints at a stepover between now & end of season he should be ridiculed to the point that he leaves the field.
He will of course return with Bury in the cup, do a stepover and rifle one into the roof of the net to dump us out in the 3rd Rnd.
