Jags' own goals are hardly relevant. He's not exactly turned and shot into his own net, he's just been unlucky with deflections.

Jags will give it his all, Heitinga will not because he doesn't care 1/10 as much. He's played okay the last few games, and like Summerskin said his passing out of the defence is better than Jags', but the sooner Heitinga is gone the better.

We have three really good centre-halves at the club right now. Any two of the three in the centre of defence makes me happy :)

It's not a problem area, which is why I was always surprised with the Wheater link ad nauseum.

Eric Dier makes sense if you think in terms of transition; all three are getting on a bit so thinking to the future is the way to go rather than new signings.

Is not gonna feature in the first team..He's an academy loan signing , I doubt he will every play senior football for us..

I actually think Heitinga has been playing better than Jags was before he got injured.

I dont know if im remembering whilst wearing my Blue Tinted Glasses but i seem to remember Jags being unbelievable with his " thou shall not pass" attitude before his injury - granted since he came back i think Heitinga has played better.....Neither are just squad players and Distin is too good to be dropped so sadly can see us cashing in on Heitinga.

I try not to like him because of his comments but the Guy is class on the field!!!

Maybe my blue tinted glasses are on 'cos of the slapping Heitinga gave Ladyboy Torres at the weekend.

Happily cash in on him though. The money would be much more useful to us at the moment.

If he scored his OG against Stoke down the other end Bergkamp would have been well impressed!!!

:P.

Heitinga has been solid, and the team has been doing well, so there's no need to change things around at the moment. Jagielka is excellent though, and we have three good centre backs available to us.

So much for the Dutchman's awful attitude.

Reading his twitter's, Heitinga seems committed to the Royal Blue cause again. I was his biggest critic, i still think it would be best if he left, but he has done a great job the last few games, and if Moyes picks Jags ahead of him i'll fume, Jags doesn't deserve to walk straight back in

What's he been saying dude?

Heitinga should start, it's not currently broke.

Credit to Distin here by the way

One saying "my focus is on Everton, proud to be an Evertonian"

another saying something like "just had light training, looking forward to West Ham tomorrow"

"just had pre-match meeting - can't wait"

Paul Holmes away to Bolton anyone?

Jags is a better player than Heitinga so Jags. I think Heitinga needs to play every match and feel like his part of the team its just a shame that his most suited postions are already taken by our best players But has played 14 league games this year and was injured for 4-6 games so really his no been played in 2-4 games when fit.

LOL funniest image of Jags doing an Ann from Little Britain. Eh eh ehhhhhhh and just boots it into his own goal, and just stares at Howard afterwards.

ahahahahha!

Just me then...

What if Jagielka giving it all is still less than Heitinga (in your opinion) is giving right now on the pitch?

Hetinga-Distin are playing well at the moment, no reason to change that.
