if we sell heitinga, do you think we should keep yobo? rather than buying another cb for cover. yobo and duffy and mustafi as backups, is that enough? perhaps selling saha and johnny could yield enough money to buy a competent striker

Good player who's woefully out of form and struggling in a position he has limited experience in. That, and the fact that he's struggled with niggling injuries. Not that that's a good enough reason to go through your first bad run of form since joining the club. This is Everton after all, players don't go through bad patches, they just have attitude problems and clearly aren't giving there all.

It tells you all you need to know when even players like Arteta are targeted by these shouts of 'not caring' and 'not being interested'. Arteta's been here for 5 years or so, could have easily left prior to signing his contract and has given us nothing but effort and quality during his time here. A player like Heitinga hasn't got a chance really.

Far be it from me to question the oracle that is LCAB, but if it was a done deal, and he is causing a stink behind the scenes as well as on the pitch, why does Moyes persist when we have a future England midfielder warming the bench who could be doing a better job?

Good, we get some cash for a player who might be willing to show some fight for the cause. It's not that I ever disliked Heitinga it's just that he seems disinterested to me.

a couple of points ......

if heitinga is stinking the place up then its strange how 1. he is picked to play , and 2. that the club havent made any soundbites about his attitude. lescott and anichebe have both been stroppy in the past and that became public knowledge.

another thing is the quoted sale price of 6 million . a world cup finalist international with 5 or 6 years left in the game should be atleast 9 or 10 million imo.

also , if fellaini and rodwell werent injured/banned would heitinga even get into the team ?

lastly , even if we sell the heitinga and use the cash for a striker wouldnt we have to also offload one of the misfiring bunch we have got here already ? yak and saha are on big money , are not scoring and will just be warming the bench.
with saha's age and joke form i would say he should go , but then with pienaars problems and yobo being off , then surely yak may also be a candidate to also go before he becomes really unhappy.

BECAUSE , honey , with respect , that Jackie is only 4 weeks back , Screech has been out as much as in , results having been indifferent , JH represents POWER within Moylesey's squad . Especially now . He can play 2/3 roles AN' just played in a W/C Final - albeit not for the duration , but why be pedantic , eh ???
