Wouldn't say great myself like, Heitinga looks a good deal, you haven't even seen "The Russian" and Distin has no resale value.

Seems decent but I don't think we've improved. Moyes said last week that we needed at least 4 in, surely we haven't got just 1.

Yeah but we didn't buy him to sell him. I think £5mil is good business for someone with Premiership experience and who can step in imediately. If we get 3 years of good service from him, the £5mil was worth it.

been thinking that for the last 5 years haven't we. Done well the past few years.

Surprised that you've took this attitude mate, I would have thought you would have seen the value in what business we have done.

I haven't mate, this is the first time. I know you have, remember the hefty PM conversation last pre-season?....

We haven't got the squad to compete in the Premiership and Europa. Moyes even admitted.

Disappointing - I just hope theres a delayed confirmation of a new signing. Fingers crossed.

New contacts.

VDM, Valente and Castillo have gone. As have Johnson and McFadden. We've got a smaller squad now than we had two years ago.

Investing in the facilities, what facilities over the past few years?

Can't help but think that in a few years we'll be talking about a lost Everton side, a side that was two or three signings away from really competing.

Did you two trade accounts or something?????

I'm glad that we don't have players like VDM and Castillo. More opportunities for youngsters like Rodwell, Gosling, and Baxter.

Well we have enough cover in defence, loads of cover up front, and we had Fellaini and the Russian on the bench against Wigan. Moyes has brought in 3 players he is going to play and lost 1. To me that is improving the side.

-----------Howard
Heitinga-Distin-jagielka-Baines
Pienaar-Neville-Arteta-Bilyaletdinov
------------Cahill------------
-----------Yakubu

Yobo, Hibbert, Jo, Rodwell, Fellaini, Osman, Gosling

By far the best squad we've had under Moyes. Actual options from the bench.

I've said my bit anyway. I've been spot on the past two years and I'll be spot on again now.

I don't expect to be in the Europa next year.

Strength in depth is key yet we still have a tiny squad? We've managed to sell a player for 24million and sign one relatively expensive player? What if Mikel has a complication with his injury? What if he gets injured again? We still have no balance to the side, after FOUR YEARS.

 That's not a big prediction at all. It may be that we won't be in the Europa league but not because we've gotten worse, rather because other teams have spent a lot and gotten better.
