So dissapointed with Johnny. Loved him. But tbf, pretty much all dutch footballers are flashy carts in their personal lives. Arrogant to. Look at Van Persie, Sneijder etc.
Sorry mate but thats your fault. You choose to love a complete stranger just because he played for the club you support. If he then turns out to be a complete twonk (not that he has) then its all your fault if you feel dissapointed.
He mentioned something about being flattered by City's interest in the summer mate, that aint going to make him flava of the month.
He played in the games against them so he's all too aware of our thoughts of them trampy tits of a club.
Got any proof of that mate? I expect you do considering how anti dodgy sourced football links you are. And even if its true why should he share the quite frankly riciulous hatred of another club by some fans of the club he plays for. I'd be flatered if a club who could buy anyone in the world was interested in me. Doesn't mean Everton are [Poor language removed] and city are the bestest club in the world.
Is this backlash all because he said that 2 other clubs are big clubs? Is it because he is quite rightly fed up that being a world cup finalist at centre back he is stuck on the bench or in midfield? Maybe but as he has said absolutely nothing of the sort in public who knows?
Or maybe its because he was promised when he signed he would be in a team challenging for a Champions League spot. Instead that team has scraped an 8th place finish and is currently sat 17th with 1 win in 7 games. Who knows.
But saying you wouldn't mind playing for one of the best club sides of all time is hardly a heinous crime.
Maybe if he came out and falsely kissed the badge like Fellaini did people would love him and wouldn't try and twist things to suit their agenda just because they are worried he might leave at some point.
And i hate to say this but turning on one of our players over a perfectly reasonable comment that may well of got lost in translation is kopite behavior.
So stop it
