Whatever happened to the Nyland we were linked with from Molde? I know Joel did well in the 3 games he played and I'd give him another 10-15 games but I think Everton should be out there searching for a world class keeper. Two in Germany have recently moved for relatively small fees - Burki to Dortmund and Ulreich to Bayern. I think it'd be worth it in the long run throwing a healthy sum at someone like Timo Horn, Baumann, Zieler or Fahrmann.

Hopefully Martinez will be gracious enough to admit he was wrong if Howard has a rotten season

Hopefully he'll play Robles if Howard starts the season poorly to try and prevent things getting too bad

In reality though, Howard will probably be crap from match one onwards and the only way Martinez will play Robles will be if Howard gets a knock. Otherwise, it'll be all Howard all season and Martinez will have a convenient excuse absolving himself of blame

Erm shouldn't we all be worried with De Gea going to Real Madrid that Manchester United will swoop in.

Seen as Robles was his replacement back in Spain as people have suggested previously.

Absolutely woeful keeper no better than Howard. Should get Begovic in with him only having 1 year left on his deal.

Think we need to atleast try, look at Spurs getting Eriksen and Saints Tadic for example, our problem is we don't seem to make a move for big players. I would flog Howard and put the extra few mil and offer it to Stoke before Lloris ends up replacing De Gea at Utd and Spurs go for Begovic.

Won't be getting another keeper though Martinez loves Howard

What about Navas from Real Madrid? Good goalie even if he loves the dramatics. Barely played a game since arriving there and will never, ever breakthrough.
