Did all right, looked comfortable on getting his body behind any shots.

Needs some coaching on when to come off his line to collect and when to hold back. Once in the first half he dashed out when he had no chance of getting to the ball and then in the second half he should have come out to claim it, but that's nit-picking, I've seen Howard do similar things.

I had him down as gash and he's proving me wrong.

I kind of thought he nailed that Sterling half-in-half-out thing. Sterling was expecting him to commit so he could send the ball round him, but then Joel stopped and forced Sterling into committing when he wasn't expecting to. He had nowhere to go by that point and fluffed it into the side netting. Eff knows if that was intentional but I like to think so!

Also fantastic work from him to get on that Ibe chance.

I feel more confident with him over Howard. It shows how far he has come because I don't panic when other teams shoot now. Joel is very good at coming for crosses and looks a big dominant keeper.

He certainly learned from his mistake again Krasnodar. Exactly the same situation only this time he kept his eyes on the ball and covered his angles well.

Yep,he was worried about Sterling going to ground and on reflection he did ok in that situation, very brave too going for that cross at the far stick, great keeping there,I think Tim would have been rooted to his line there and who knows what may have happened then:)

Long may his good form continue as well Dario. I don't mind mistakes as long as it looks like the players learn from them. Overall he seems the type to be learning very quickly out on the pitch. Another clean sheet, that's his 3rd in a row so it's a no brainer that the shirt is his to lose now.

Yep,the defence appear to have more confidence about him,and have a growing understanding, even I as a mere fan, feel a lot more secure with the big fella in between the sticks.

I'd keep him in over Howard, he young and he's proving he a good keeper, still got to learn a lot but taking him out after 3 clean sheets would ruin his confidence.

I do as well mate. I think he's done really well considering that pen fell to him against West Ham as well. All the good he done that could have easily knocked his confidence as well. Every game so far he's made some important saves. We look solid at the back. Shame we look absolutely mince meat up top lol

Thats us though Macca, feast or famine!!we either look great going forward and concede,or like yesterday bottle it up at the back and offer nothing up top,it'll come together mate, keep the faith:)

He is turning into a decent keeper. He now comes and collects crosses with confidence. It was the Arsenal game in the cup when he was flapping and punching at crosses that made me think he would never make it but from then to now we have a better keeper by far. I would leave Robles in goal and let Howard sit and wait.
