The one defence he has is that this lot of players are proving spineless beyond belief irregardless of who coaches them.

Every manager in the past few seasons we have downed tools as soon as things get tough, happened to Martinez, happened to Koeman, happened to Unsy and now it's happening to Allardyce who is meant to be a specialist at getting poor teams to be defensively solid, that says volumes about this squad.

The second half today made me embarrassed at times to see every central midfield player refuse to go short and take the ball under pressure, these are footballers the main job of a footballer is to want to have the ball. Barry had his haters but he never turned shy on picking the ball up deep, Schneiderlin on the other hand is making a career of becoming invisible when the going gets tough.

Back to Allardyce though he's a poor manager, we knew this anyway and expected him to steady the ship which currently he's not but everything from his line up's no matter what level of team we play, the sub decisions which are not changing us tactically merely hoping for a response from a change of player (Koeman did the exact same and Niasse delivered for both)

I'd be annoyed if by the end of this season he isn't binned off, he's not a manager who is going to build and progress his style of play to match ambition he will always be a back to the wall manager whose hard to beat. The next 5 months are not going to be enjoyable but if he keeps us up that's all that matter then i'd hope both him and Walsh will be binned off and a fair few of this squad too.

It’s that bad ~ he’s that bad, we’re that bad, our board will is that bad - I don’t even want to talk about. It’s that bad. I reckon even you’se know it’s bad. As bad as it gets, yep, that bad.

No defence here of Allardyce here, you know why.
