Everton boss David Moyes will pounce for West Ham’s Momo Diame if Chelsea lure star midfielder Marouane Fellaini away from the Toffees, writes the Sunday People.

Hammers chief Sam Allardyce does not want to lose Diame but he has a £6million release clause in his contract.

Diame was due to join Liverpool in Kenny Dalglish’s last deal before the Kop chief left – and he lived in the north west during his Wigan days. Diame, who was born in France but represents Senegal, joined the Hammers during the summer.

haha clueless mirror again. we didn't bother when he was free but now he's 6 mill we're all for him

Marouane Chamakh on loan. Can't see his wages being too high, he isn't getting a game at Arsenal and he would be a much better option as a striker than Anichebe and Vellios. We could go direct with him up front and Jelavic could play off him too if we wanted to have 2 up front.

But with Chamakh's basic £55,000-a-week Arsenal salary plus potential transfer fee, he had always proved too expensive.

Fair enough, didn't realise he was on that sort of wage. I still think we could do with a striker like that, especially as long as Mirrallas is our only pacey midfielder. When he's out like yesterday we are so one paced in midfield it's untrue, and Jelavic finds himself dropping deep or going wide looking for the ball. With someone like Chamakh we could go more direct and the likes of Osman and Naismith could get beyond him. Chamakh is boss in the air.

In the name of an All-Belgian, All-Afro midfield, this fella Axel Witsel could do a job for us. Too bad Zenit just paid €40 million for him.

I actually don't hate the Chamakh idea.

Yeah he looks like Ronaldo's ugly little brother, and yeah he's been beyond crap at Arsenal.... In fact I've changed my mind while writing this.

He's crap.
