The happiest EFC have ever made you/the saddest EFC have ever made you

Theres some very young members of this board isnt there?

Not a bad thning at all, hope theres a new generation of blues coming through. Seems mad when i read that peoples best ever memories are the odd derby win, or the sunderland FA Cup semi final.

It breaks my heart in a way that so many evertonians have been starved of any sort of success for so long.

Always felt priviledged to have been a blue in the greatest year of the clubs history, 85 - and have seen other title wins as well. As a young lad seeing your team win the title every couple of years, i deffo didnt make the most of it.

If the 90's and 2000's havent reminded me to savour every good moment we get then reading some of the young lads memories makes me think its even more important.

Hope the young ones get some boss memories to cherish over the next 10 years or so.

For me the saddest moment was listening to the BBC World Service in a ****ty gym in a kibbutz in Israel (the only place I could find a radio which picked up the BBC at the time) and going 2 down against Wimbledon - really thought we were down. Fortunately, I was alone and nobody saw my first tears as an adult.

The happiest was when Inchy scored against Southampton in the semi at Highbury - I was in the Clock End and it was like bedlam in there - I thought I was hugging my dad only to realize it was a complete stranger after about 30 seconds of jumping up and down together - that was the day when it hit me, and I'm sure many other people, that we were on the verge of something great.
I think that was me, can I have my wallet back?

I was only 6 when we won the FA Cup final so although I remember it, watching it at home and being that age didn't mean as much as it would now. When Jagielka scored that penalty the feeling was unbelievable because I was there and caught up in the atmosphere.

This.
